We had a lovely time in the last 2 weeks of August, particularly the second week when the temperature dropped a little. We explored the bay and the Adriatic coast, usually coming back for a relaxing swim in the beautiful pool. The Villa had everything we needed and was very good value; we felt really well looked after by Lillian and family. Many places and beaches were busy in our first week - so we'd recommend coming in September if you can, as the sea will still be wonderfully warm.

Villa Adriatic was the ideal base from which to explore this beautiful country. The mountain roads were challenging at times but generally very good with relatively little traffic and the views were stunning. The Villa is very comfortable and Lillian's garden is a real labour of love. Many thanks.

Really enjoyed our week there (July 11 - 18th). Plenty to see and do in the neighbouring towns - car recommended, but local buses are available and very cheap. Very hot, reached 40°C, and mosquitoes are out in force - be prepared!
Great Villa and brilliant garden and pool - with owner (Lillian) at hand opposite to answer all queries. Nice to experience a country that isn't over commercialised. Highly recommended.

Villa Adriatic was an ideal stay for our honeymoon. The accomodation, lovely garden and the pool were perfect and very well looked after. Montenegro is stunning and we'd definitely come again. Lillian was so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and dropped everything to help us return early due to a medical problem. Lillian - many, many thanks!

The villa's pool was a welcome respite when temperatures regularly clocked late 30 degrees. The garden is a labour of love, on Lillian's part, and we loved it. A beautiful place to stay and explore the surrounding countryside. Check out Kotor and Perast (do dine at the water's edge at Conte Nautilus), visit Njeguli (the locally-produced ham and cheese taste so much better in the mountain air and the drive their really gets the heart beating faster), indulge in white water rafting in the Tara Canyon (a splendid trip courtesy of Black Mountain Adventure Travel in Herceg Novi). Enjoy Montenegro as much as we did.

After a very long drive from Luxembourg the lovely garden and swimming pool and the warm welcome from Liliane were very much appreciated! It is an ideal place out of the more busy tourist resorts to have a good rest and to visit Montenegro. We recommend Perast for some very good meals out where you can eat by the water's edge while watching the sun go down. Delicious fresh fish and very good local wine ensure a very good evening!

We had a lovely relaxing holiday in Villa Adriatric. The villa, pool and garden is beautiful. Lilian was most helpful and even cooked some hot crepes for us - scrumptious. Montenegro has stunning scenery. We enjoyed our trips to Budva, Kotor and we had a fabulous meal at Stari Malini which is in a wonderful location. All arrangements, questions and car hire were handled by Vujadin (Lilian's son) who was very efficent. Hvalla!

We had a great time at Villa Adriatic even though we had a fair bit of rain. Good meal at Catovica Milini, but remember to ask for your plate to be warmed before hand. Places to visit include Kotor (30 minute hike to the castle above the town, but worth it for the views), Budva old town (take the ferry across rather than drive) and Sveti Stefan (note the island itself is closed for 3-4 years). Be wary about trying to buy 50 cl beer bottles in main supermarket Trajet. They will not let you do so as you need to bring in empties 1st. Mini marts in Morinj are fine though. Lillian was very helpful and the garden was extremely well kept with its various ponds and lights for the evenings.

Had a great trip to Montenegro - lovely to visit somewhere still unspoilt by tourism - quiet - even in August. The villa was great as was the pool and garden - Lillian very helpful. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday within walking distance and easy trips out for interest.

Lovely location/villa and kids loved the pool with the diving board. The A/C was an absolute godsend in the hot weather, although it would have been nice to have had it in both bedrooms. We'd recommend the boat trip and car hire, both of which were easily arranged via Lillian, with the car being brought to and collected from the villa. Apart from the mosquitos we had a great time!

Lovely location with very pretty garden. Villa was a great base from which to explore both the Bay of Kotor and Lustica and a real retreat to come back to at the end of a hot day.
Not many places with private pool like this - we recommend as good all round accommmodation. Luke and Charlotte

We had a lovely time in Montenegro; as you say on your website, the country and particularly the part where this villa is, is still relatively undiscovered, certainly by West Europeans, although I don't think that will last as it is so beautiful with the mountains, the clear turquoise water, lush vegetation and attractive old towns to visit. The villa was also of a very high standard and we enjoyed the garden and swimming pool. Lillian was really helpful - and very interesting to talk to. We would certainly like to return.

We stayed in scorching weather in June - thank goodness for the air-conditioned bedroom!
The villa, pool and garden were lovely and the scenery in Morinji and surrounding areas absolutely beautiful.
Nothing was too much trouble for Lillian and Suzanna's cooking was delicious... both times!
Whatever you do, don't miss out on a visit to the 'Catovica Mlini' restaurant - just down the road and out of this world!!

We had a fantastic week at the villa in May 2006. The villa was fabulous and Lillian was the perfect hostess. Suzana's take-away menu must be tried. For the adventurous try Johnny Boys' boat trip to the islands!
